ABOUT HAYLEY
Professional Actress Hayley Emma Otway founded HOT (Hayley Otway Theatre) Academy Ltd in August 2016. She wanted to bring full-scale shows and performing arts training to all abilities in a nurturing environment to help kids and teens have exceptional performance opportunities at an affordable price.
Since she graduated Mountview in 2009, with a BA (Hons) in Acting, Hayley has starred as Polly in 'Crazy for You' at the London Palladium. Christine in 'Phantom' at Alexandra Palace, and been a guest vocalist at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End. She has performed at sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Festival (CVenues, 'Shakespeare For Breakfast', Honk!, Hansel & Gretel), toured 'Much Ado About Nothing' (including the RSC Dell Theatre) and transferred 'I Love You, You're Perfect. Now Change!' to the Canal Cafe Theatre, London. Hayley has also appeared in short films such as 'Yoghurt' and 'In The Middle', played many a panto princess, and sung in Cabarets and at events all over the UK!
As well as a professional performer, Hayley has an extensive teaching background, having taught since 1997 at various establishments such as PINK, Stagecoach, The Beck Youth Theatre, Harmony's, VPA, Encore and many more as Director, Choreographer and/or Singing Tutor. She also has a BA (Hons) in English Literature, and has experience in tutoring children with SEN, specialising in childrens' emotional needs.
Hayley loves that HOT has become its own little family and thrives on every student's individual success - however large or (seemingly) small.
